Storing Inventory

This storing inventory policy is included in the DP World Terms of Service. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between this policy and our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall take precedence over any conflicting or opposing terms in any other agreement.

1. Access to Inventory
   • Once your inventory is received at the warehouse, it cannot be accessed for inspection, exchange, or pickup without scheduling the outbound shipment. Outbound shipments will include handling fees.
   • If you need to transfer inventory to another location, including another DP World Fulfillment warehouse, you must submit a shipping order.
   • DP World Fulfillment warehouses are secure facilities and are not open to the public. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact our Support Team.
2. Inventory Forecasting
   • You may be required to provide daily, weekly, or monthly forecasts for:
     • Inbound Forecasts: Goods that you or your suppliers will deliver to our warehouses.
     • Outbound Forecasts: The number of orders or units you plan to ship out.
   • DP World Fulfillment reserves the right to limit the amount of inventory that can be delivered or stored, based on warehouse capacity or operational needs.
3. Defective Inventory, Packaging, and Disposal
   • Pre-Shipment Recommendations: Before sending inventory to DP World Fulfillment, verify the product and packaging are suitable for shipping.
   • Handling Defective Inventory: We reserve the right to refuse, return, or dispose of any inventory that is defective, dangerous, or requires special handling. You will be responsible for any additional labor or materials required to manage defective products or packaging.
   • Packaging Standards: If your inventory arrives pre-packaged but is deemed insufficient for shipping, we may require additional packaging. We can offer packaging solutions for a fee or return the items at your expense.
   • Inventory Disposal: Disposal of inventory, including damaged goods or items requiring special handling (e.g., battery removal), may incur additional fees. Disposal will be treated like an outbound order, and storage fees will apply until all items are disposed of or shipped out.
